KNIGHT WARRIOR RUNS FOR MAYOR

BRITISH RLSH NEEDS TO RAISE FUNDS BY TOMORROW TO BE IN RUNNING FOR SALFORD MAYOR

--Salford

According to several British media sources, British RLSH Knight Warrior is trying to campaign to become Mayor of Salford, a city of 229,000 people in northwest England.

Before the masked man can seriously campaign for office, though, he'll need to raise a 500 pound application fee. Knight Warrior explains:

"I'm looking to reach a target of £500 by Wednesday 4th April, this is needed for the fee laid down by Salford Council. If for whatever reason I'm not able to raise the full amount (therefore unable to stand for election) all monies raised will be donated to Centre Point."

A RLSH in public office? Is it possible?

You can read an in-depth article on the mayoral run HERE.

Knight Warrior's campaign page on Facebook, with a link to donate is HERE.

And lastly, I wrote an article on Knight Warrior and other British RLSH for the British quarterly magazine Delayed Gratification, which you can read HERE.

  1. Wow, it's Green Arrow all over again. Well, except Green Arrow's secret identity wasn't publicly known when he became mayor of Star City.

  2. This is not the first time someone from this community has ran for or been elected to public office.

Super Barrio was elected as a Mexican Congressman who ran for President of Mexico in 1988 and also ran for the President of the United States that year too, although not being a U.S. Citizen, he would've been ineligible to serve.

Tothian was elected to a local political office in 2008.

Frogman has announced his candidacy to run for President of the United States in 2020.

Supposedly I heard that Phoenix Jones served as Mayor of some town for a year, a few years ago.

George Washington, Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Hunter (fictional story based on a real President, but still heroic in real life nonetheless), and Teddy Roosevelt of the Rough Riders were U.S. Presidents who were kinda like Superheroes.

Rudy Giuliani is kind of considered like a superhero, he effectively reduced crime to less than 1/3 of what it was before he took office and his leadership helped save lives on September 11th, 2001.

As far as Knight Warrior wanting to be Mayor, there will always be other elections so he has until next election to get what he needs in order to do that, and also to get the word out also.
